چکیده
Essential oils (EOs) have recently attracted more interest due to their insecticidal activities, low harmfulness, and rapid degradation in the environment. Therefore, Lavandula steochas (L. steochas) essential oil was assessed for its chemical constituents, vitro cytotoxicity, scolicidal, acaricidal, activities. Using spectrometry gas chromatography, components of L. EOs were detected. Additionally, different concentrations tested anticancer activities when applied human embryonic kidney cells (HEK-293 cells) breast cancer cell line MCF-7. The oil’s scolicidal activity against protoscolices hydatid cysts evaluated at various exposure times. adulticidal, larvicidal, repelling effects on R. annulatus ticks also investigated concentrations, ranging from 0.625 10%. Likewise, larvicidal pupicidal Musca domestica estimated concentrations. analyses identified camphor as predominant compound (58.38%). showed significant cytotoxicity cells. All demonstrated protoscoleces cysts. EO (essential oil) 100% adulticidal a 10% concentration with an LC50 2.34%, whereas 86.67% 9.11%. On other hand, no repellent this tick’s larva. Furthermore, achieved M. values 1.79% 1.51%, respectively. In conclusion, current work suggests that could serve potential source insecticidal, agents.
